Standard Blends
A rich source of 6-Carbon sugars shown to improve rumen fermentation in dairy cows. Highly palatable and proven to increase dry matter intake. Trial work has demonstrated that molasses can improve fibre digestion and overall digestive efficiency which can help support higher levels of milk production and milk fat yields. The fermentation of 6-Carbon sugars in the rumen directly leads to an increase in the production of milk fat precursors.
Mid-Protein Range
Using modern blending technology, ED&F Man Liquid Products are able to combine cane molasses with other liquid co-products to offer a choice of products offering the ideal combination of sugar, energy, protein, viscosity and price for all situations. Maintaining a high palatability these blends help drive intakes, reduce sorting and dust levels in a ration and improve overall dairy cow performance.
Regulated Release Range
This unique process developed by ED&F Man Liquid Products, is designed to give rumen bacteria exactly what they need to thrive – a balanced and synchronised supply of energy and protein, leading to increased microbial protein production and better animal performance. Regulated Release is a research proven protein-urea-molasses complex which supplies an excellent source of both Effective Rumen Degradable Protein (ERDP) and Fermentable Metabolisable Energy (FME). These blends are the ideal complement to high maize content dairy rations helping to increase protein and energy supply to support high levels of milk production.

Glycerine Enhanced Range
A high energy liquid readily fermentable in the rumen, also known as glycerol and obtained as a co-product from biodiesel production. Sweet and highly palatable combined with cane molasses to supply multiple energy sources in a dairy cow ration. Glycerine is gluconeogenic meaning it stimulates glucose production which is key for effective metabolism leading to improved animal performance. Glycerine is also a glucose precursor when absorbed in the intestine, being particularly helpful to support high milk production in the first 100 days of lactation.

Special Blends
- A high protein, mineralised range of products are available in the Prime Product Range. These contain Regulated Release protein and ED&F Man’s tailored vitamin and mineral pack.
- Magnesium chloride, the most bioavailable form of magnesium, can be added to all bulk blends. Ideal addition during spring and autumn grazing when levels of magnesium can be limited in fresh grass.
- Transition Cow Syrup is a liquid feed specifically formulated for dry cows with a high sugar level promoting dry matter intakes, along with a low DCAB value to help reduce metabolic disorders.
- Robomol is a high energy molasses blend specifically designed for dairy cows to use in robotic milking herds to encourage robot visits.
- Fresh-Guard is a ration conditioner designed to stop TMR’s from heating to help protect the nutritional value of your ration. Fresh-Guard can be added to all bulk blends.
- ReguSmart 27 is our revolutionary new protein liquid amino acid blend with the addition of MetaSmart®, a liquid source of metabolisable methionine. MetaSmart® can also be added to all bulk blends.
