Creating a molasses-based liquid feed by combining cane molasses with other liquid co-products gives a high sugar, high energy and protein blend option that is ideal for all sheep feeding systems. Where protein levels are lower in a diet these blends offer a solution for slightly increasing dietary protein with a balance of sugar for ideal rumen utilisation.
Protein Enhanced Regulated Release Range
Regumix is a highly palatable molasses based liquid feed and is one of the Regulated Release blends suitable for sheep alongside Prime 20 which also contains ED&F Man’s tailored vitamin and mineral pack. At either 18% or 20% crude protein as fed, these blends can be used pre-tupping to improve a ewe’s nutritional status and body condition score or used as a supplement alongside low protein forages.

Glycerine Enhanced Range
The unique low substitution effect of a molasses based liquid feed allows effective levels of energy to be fed and feed intakes to be maintained in late pregnancy to ewes when rumen space is restricted by lamb growth and glucose demands are high. The addition of glycerine to the blend provides a unique combination of energy sources which is ideal to promote healthy lamb growth and maintain ewe health. As glycerine is a glucose precursor, this can also help support quality milk production post lambing.
